Completely Non-Sequitor- Call Of Duty

Posted: 22nd November 2011 by Taxi Hack in Uncategorized

I’m not a game player, but I love the ads for the Call Of Duty games. I saw this once on TV and had to go find it… I’m posting here mostly so I can find it easily… it features Sam Worthington (Terminator: Salvation) and Jonah Hill (Superbad), with a quick cameo by Dwight Howard of the Orlando Magic… I fuggin’ love this…

And here’s the ad for the previous game Call Of Duty: Black Ops. I particularly like the pudgy pubescent teenage girl breaching the door with the shotgun, and the Concierge with the WASR-10 AK47… LOL

Cool- I had not seen the new one yet. It was the one with Jimmy Kimmel in it I was thinking of the other day when we talked.

Loving the blog man. I’ve been in your cab several times now as you have driven me to work at the ER at the hospital. So imaging my surprise when you mentioned “the pudgy pubescent teenage girl breaching the door with the shotgun”. Particularly considering she’s my cousin [name redacted]. I’ll tell you about her more next time I’m in your cab.

Really? That is your cousin? Tell her you know a member of her fan club. I just love the expressionless look she gives as she racks the slide… I love her!

Chad was in my car the other night, and had not seen my edit and reply, but he told me about his cousin, and after listening to a little of her story, I have decided to un-redact her name. Her name is B.K. Cannon, and she is a pretty impressive young lady, from what her cousin tells me. She has appeared in Glee, Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy, Law And Order: LA, Switched At Birth, House, and several other TV shows, as well as several movies as well. Her IMDB profile is HERE.

She’s had some personal struggles to overcome, and I am glad she has achieved this success. I’ve never seen any of her work because I watch so little TV, but still a fan, just for her five or six seconds in that Call Of Duty ad.

If you should happen to read this, Miss Cannon, best wishes for your continued success.

Hack, thanks for the plug and of course all the great stuff you write. I started at the beginning and am working my way forward. Looking forward to futures conversations.
